Kinkell Farm

We're a family-run farm that's been part of the Hosie family for around 140 years, located in Lennoxtown, just 12 miles from Glasgow city centre. My partner David and I have established two farm diversification projects: a vertical farm growing a range of microgreens and a no-dig market garden producing fresh seasonal vegetables. We grow everything using an agroecological approach, with the no-dig method promoting healthy soil through minimal disturbance and working with nature. All our produce is grown without any chemical fertilisers or pesticides. We offer veg boxes for delivery across Glasgow and supply several local restaurants and families. Our microgreens include pea, sunflower, radish, broccoli and coriander varieties. We're passionate about reconnecting people with how and where their food is grown, and we partner with the Scottish Pantry Network to provide fresh produce to the local community.
